THIS GAME INCLUDES

24 playing cards + 4 dices + 1 plastic box

DESCRIPTION:

The game is played in 3 stages, the defending player is holding the cards and the attacking player throws the dices. To win one stage the player with the dices must take as many matching cards as possible from the defending player. Each card has a different symbol/value matching the side of the dice. At the end of each stage, each player count his points (the total max. points scorable is 228), the defender keeps the cards not taken by the attacker at the end of each turn.

GAME PROGRESS

. Stage 1 : Each player takes a card randomly and the player with the higher score can choose to be on the defending or attacking side. The defending player takes the cards and the second player the dices. At each round, the defending player lays 4 cards that he chooses on the table then, the player with the dices will threw the dices 3 times and will collect the cards that match the dices. The stage will end after 6 rounds when the defending player will have used-up his 24 cards.

. Stage 2 : The defending player become attacking player and the defendant will take the dices.

. Stage 3 : The player who got most of the score during stage 1 and 2 can decide to be defendant or attacking for the last stage.

The player who win the last stage wins the game.

VARIATION

Both players can agree at the beginning to play the game in 2 stages and the winner will be the player with higher score.

CirKle 2 is the first board game by 1-2-3-games and it is easy like 1, 2, 3!

Created by Patrick Laterrot in 2005, cirKle 2 is the modern version of the chess game. Queen, Bishop, Knight and Rook are replaced by Tank (circle), Airplane (triangle), Helicopter (cross) and Aircraft Carrier (square). King and Pawns paid tribute to modernity by disappearing from the board of CirKle 2 !

CirKle 2 board has 88 squares arranged in an eight-by-eleven grid. Each player starts the game with 16 units:  four Tanks, four Airplanes, four Helicopters and four Aircraft Carriers.

Each CirKle 2 unit has its own specific moves (steps and jumps) :

Tank (circle – queen in chess) moves in any direction (horizontal, vertical, diagonal) steps from 1  to max 4 squares at a time.



Aircraft Carrier by Cirkle2 - cubicle shape

Aircraft carrier (square – rook in chess) moves in 2 directions (horizontal, vertical) steps from 1  to max 8 squares at a time.



Airplane by CirKle 2 - triangle shape

SPECIAL ABILITY UNITS:

Airplane (triangle – bishop in chess) moves only in one direction (diagonal) steps from 1 to max 6 squares at a time. Can leap over any unit.


Helicopter by CirKle 2 - cross shape

Helicopter (cross – knight in chess) moves in 2 directions (horizontal, vertical) steps from 1 to max 4 squares at a time. Can leap over any unit.

The object of the game is to capture two Targets of the opponent placed on the last row of his field.

Great innovation in CirKle 2 is Low Position and High Position of units on CirKle 2 board!

All units in the High Position attack all units of the opponent in the same High Position. All units in the Low Position attack all units of the opponent in the same Low Position, but can also attack unprotected units in High Position.

If a shape of a unit matches the shape of square on the board it fits into this square and  gets automatically  into protected Low Position. If the shape of a unit does not matches the shape of a square it can not fit into the square, so remains automatically  in High Position, hence become vulnerable. Unit in Low Position is protected from the attack of a unit in High Position.

CASTLING BY CirKle 2

Each unit is allowed to make a special move - castling. Castling by Cirkle 2 consists of switching the position of any two units placed on the same line (horizontal, vertical, diagonal) in one move.
